Villa Bahce was absolutely gorgeous and
a perfect place to stay. Not to mention,
Levent is a perfect renter as he catered to
all our needs. I can't emphasize how
beautiful the view is from the villa,
absolutely stunning. We vacationed in Turkey
in late September 2008 and the weather was
ideal, sunny and warm everyday. Being next
to the pool was very convenient; and at that
time of the year, we had the pool to
ourselves. The
infinity pool is beautiful. The
beach was a little bit of a walk, as it was
steep hill down, however the water was
simply wonderful to swim in. Not much of
beach since you lay on lawn chairs, but
definitely very comfortable. Traveling
with 5 other women we felt very comfortable
and were never hassled by any locals. On the
contrary, everyone was super friendly to
us. It was very easy to take a taxi back to
our villa if we didn't want to wait for the
shuttle bus and taking the dolmus to the
other villages was not difficult to figure
out. It is possible to walk to town if
you miss the shuttle, but look in the book
in the villa as we described a shortcut into
town. It was a very quiet and
relaxing vacation destination. When
we wanted nightlife, we took the dolmus into
Bodrum and were able to take it back
to town around midnight. My friends and I
enjoyed many nights and mornings on the
veranda soaking up the view. One thing,
bring bug spray as the mosquitoes can be
bothersome in the evenings. It was
definitely a trip of a lifetime, and I hope
to get back to Turkey some day soon!

enjoyed out vacation a lot with all the help
you and Kathy have provided. Thanks for Mr.
Serdar for making the car arrangements for
us. I will disagree with some of the reviews
left at your web site. You do have mosquito
nets for all windows and air conditioners in
all rooms and living room. As in the UK, we
purchased incense to burn on the terrace to
distract the mosquitoes. We did not get any
bites at all. The temperature of the water
at the private seaside facilities was very
nice. We spent most of our times by the pool
or the sea. Again, you have spectacular
views of the sea, the sun, the moonlight,
passing by small and sail boats. I will
definitely recommend others to enjoy this
villa. Thank you again for all of your help.

Magnifique villa avec une
vue splendide sur la mer et une piscine à
débordement contigue (très pratique avec des
enfants). Le propriétaire fait tout son possible
pour le confort de ses hotes et leur donne
toutes les informations souhaitées avant le
départ (la description est scrupuleusement
exacte). Mieux vaut avoir une voiture sur place.

Levent, I am back safe and sound after such a
wonderful summer. Your house was spectacular and
a great place for a family reunion. I so enjoyed
discovering the Bodrum peninsula and Istanbul
too. I plan to write an article for our local
newspaper about traveling to Turkey. Most
Americans know so little about it and are afraid
to travel independently there. What a shame. The
Turkish people were so friendly and hospitable
to me. I didn't have any experience that was
negative in five weeks. And, I felt completely
safe as a woman alone one week of the time. I
will definitely return to Turkey in the future.
As for the house and the Heredot
development-beautiful. I felt the price was
fair, and your help was superb throughout from
booking to leaving. I enjoyed meeting your
neighbors, who welcomed us as part of the
community. There weren't too many people in
their houses, but we found the quietness to be
an asset! Let me think about improvements for
renters....a coffee maker!!!! We finally found
French Presses, and left them at the house when
we departed. We really enjoy brewed coffee in
the morning and Robin brought Star Bucks for the
summer! You might also want to let people know
that DVDs from the US will not work in the house
unless they are copied. The originals came up as
Out of Zone. I think for your long term renters
an oven with a broiler would be nice. We enjoyed
grilling out. We left pool stuff like noodles
and a float for whoever came next, and some
books. I am glad Kathy reported we treated your
house as our own. We tried very hard because you
have furnished it beautifully. I have come home
with all kind of thoughts for my Florida home in
creating an outdoor terrace with the canvas
interweaving-perfect for coolness. Thanks again
for helping and completing Robin’s dog travel
arrangements to get his vaccination paperwork
from the Bodrum government’s veterinary services
and talking to the doctor on our behalf so that
her dog can leave the country. So, again-THANK
YOU! I was always remember this summer, and
certainly will recommend your house to others!!!

Villa Bahce turned our vacation into a dream
which we were pursuing for a long time. Besides
minor deficiencies, the house was great.
Everything is in place from furniture to
electronic goods. Not to mention the beautiful
bay scene lying down in front of the main
terrace. Our overall experience is a very
memorable and excellent one."

What a holiday we had from 21 July till 4 August
with my wife. We have traveled around the world
a lot and wanted something different and
relaxing, also as my wife is pregnant. We booked
the villa in January and Mr. Ileri was in touch
with us ever since with regular updates,
checking our special requirements, organized a
car hire for us, updated us with events and
activities in Bodrum and generally built an
amazing trust with us. Everything exceeded our
expectations. The villa had stunning views, was
so cozy with all amenities you would need - we
cooked every day and enjoyed our dinners on the
veranda as that was always the highlight of our
day. The kitchen has everything you need -
including lots of spices! The beach club that we
had access to was also so relaxing. Great value
for money and most of all, the best service we
could ever imagine. No more holidays in hotels
for us, living in a villa is the best - you set
your own space, you go out if you want to and
stay if you feel like it. And in this villa you
feel like staying in a lot, enjoying the views,
the garden the pool and everything. The Turkish
caretakers of this compound were so helpful as
were the other residents. Mr Ileri made us feel
so welcome and we will definitely book another
stay in his villa for next summer. Thank you Mr
Ileri.

Levent is the greatest person on this World!. He
helped us with every aspect of our trip and we

Excellent price for the best holiday we ever
had. The villas has been decorated with a great
taste. We loved the location and every morning
we watched the sunrise over the Rabbit Island.
The village of Gundogan is very quiet, yet
relaxing. There are many internet cafes in the
area for those who want to keep in touch with
their work. Mr. Ileri has arranged our flight
arrangements in Turkey, and also found us an
excellent car at an affordable rate from a local
car company. The Turkish people are very nice
and friendly. I will come back again. Thanks Mr.

The villa was fantastic. You have to see how
wonderfully the villas has been furnished. My
wife and our toddler, along with two gay friends
of ours, felt very comfortable at this villa
(even more than so our home in London). Mr.
Levent Ileri, the owner of this villas, has been
a great help. We have never seen such a great
respect and treatment by anyone in our lives.
Levent lives in Washington, DC USA, but he has
been in touch with us almost once a week prior
to our trip, asking our special needs, car hire
arrangements, and called us during our stay to
make sure that everything is alright, and called
us after our stay about our experiences in
Turkey. We made a great friend, and we will
definitely rent any property from Mr. Levent
Ileri. If you have not made your reservation to
spend a quality time in Turkey, please hurry, as
Levent is the guide. We stayed two days in
Istanbul, and Levent provided us information
which you cannot find anywhere on the Internet
or in travel brochures. Mr. Ileri also made our
domestic flight arrangements. Mr. Ileri is very
resourceful and very friendly. If Mr. Ileri ever
comes to London, we will ask him to spend a
weekend with us. Thanks again Mr. Ileri.

"Never thought of an early winter vacation
(October 1-7) in Turkey would be so lovely.
Thanks to Mr. Levent Ileri for arranging all of
our needs prior to leaving the UK. Mr. Ileri
went out of his way many times to provide us
with all the information we needed, including
airport transfer, car arrangements, and taxi
companies prior to leaving the U.K. Probably,
Mr. Ileri telephoned us every weekend with
excellent feedback. Mr. Ileri’s Villa Bahce is
fabulous. There is no other villa in the Bodrum
Peninsula which can compete with this unique
luxury villa. No words can explain the beautiful
courtyard garden with lots of seating
arrangements to rest peacefully, read a book,
and listen to the Turkish music, while laying on
the sun loungers. We felt we were at a paradise.
It’s obvious that there is no need to go to
Hawaii! For those who love beaches, we recommend
simply going to the private seaside facilities
and those who love sandy beaches, just drive to
Gundogan, park in the Gundogan marina or around
Migros, and get your snack or lunch on the
seaside walkway and just rest, enjoy and have a
great time. We certainly recommend Villa Bahce
to anyone. We will return back soon. Thank you (Tesekkur

"New, clean & fresh with everything you could
need provided within the villa. Villa Bahce is
very well-decorated and designed with
fully-equipped kitchen and bathrooms with all
the amenities, including bathroom, beach, and
pool towels. Having air conditioners in all bed
rooms and living room is a plus. The owner of
the property, Mr. Levent, was very helpful with
several e-mails and phone calls before, during,
and after our holiday to answer any of our
questions. A true home from home, definitely we
would recommend this property."

"A very clean, spacious, and luxurious villa in
a lovely location. Ideal if you like to watch
all the different boats and ships that sail
past. A well-equipped villa with a good
selection of Turkish, American and European
music, Satellite TV & DVD entertainment.
Although the villa is in a quiet and rural area,
we appreciated this peaceful atmosphere. As the
weather was not too hot we were able to do a lot
of walking and exploring. At night time a short
bus ride or car journey soon takes you to plenty
of restaurants or the brighter lights of Bodrum.
An ideal location for a relaxing holiday with
easy access to all the towns in the Bodrum
Peninsula. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we
had stayed for two weeks."

"The villa is very comfortable and well laid-out
with plenty of room for us all. The property was
in a beautiful position, with a breathtaking
view from the patio, from which we could enjoy
spectacular views of the sunrise every morning,
and enjoy the sunset every evening. The villa
itself was extremely well-equipped, furnished
(the best we've ever experienced) and very
comfortable. Lovely surroundings on the "estate"
with huge pool - very often the only ones there
in the morning! We also appreciated the care of
the owners in the USA beforehand and after, who
were keen to ensure that we had a good holiday
and were extremely helpful in giving guidance
and advice about the villa and surroundings,
including car hire. Over all we had a wonderful
holiday, and have already recommended the villa
to many friends. The local bus (Dolmus) service
was very reliable and cheap and we used that to
travel to Gundogan, Bodrum, and other towns such
as Turgutreis and Gumusluk. We also had a hire
car which enabled us to explore the coastline
and travel into Bodrum. The bekci (the security
personnel) was more than helpful in fetching
fresh bread and water, when we did not want to
venture far. For those wanting a relaxing time,
you could not want for anything more. We look
forward to returning with friends in the future.
We also thank Mr. Levent Ileri for his thorough
guidance in making sure that all of our travel
arrangements and comfort were in order. You are

"This was my first time visiting Turkey,
although other members of my family had been on
several occasions and found staying in a villa
was a lot more 'personal' and relaxed with a
home away from home feel. The villa incorporates
luxury amenities (incl. individually controlled
air conditioning in every room) with everything
at your fingertips. It is situated in a pleasant
quiet complex with a large swimming pool and
baby/kids pool which you almost step out onto
from your patio. We particularly enjoyed the
roof terrace for that 'all over tan' It is a
short drive (5 mins) from shops and restaurants
in nearby Gundogan - locals and other holiday
visitors are very friendly and helpful. The
villa is designed for all types of visitors from
families to couples young and old or even if you
just wish to get away from it all on your own!
If you want to enjoy a holiday at your own pace
without the hustle and bustle of busy,
overcrowded hotels in Bodrum, then this villa
will most certainly meet your needs. Thanks to
Levent and Lee for allowing me to stay, I will

We are very fortunate to work with Levent. He
made some of our travel arrangements, including
the car hire at a discounted rate. He has a
wonderful house with beautiful views of the sea.
We rented the property in October 2008, and the
weather was calm, warm (not too hot), and were
able to enjoy the seaside facilities. Also, the
Gas BBQ machine was wonderful to have, and easy
to work with compared to dealing with buying
coal, burning it and cleaning it. We met a few
neighbors in the community, and we hope to come
back to stay at Villa Selim next year. Thanks...

I just
cannot believe that I live so close to Turkey,
and never visited it before. Seeing picture of
Villa Selim at a Greek magazine a few months
ago, I was very impressed and decided to visit
Turkey. I am glad that I did. I enjoyed my time,
the Turkish people, the food, and the Bodrum
Peninsula. Mr. Ileri has been very helpful with
my travel arrangements. Thanks to the
Information Package you sent me. This 60 page
document was great. I feel very close to Turkish
people now than ever. You have a great villa and

Dear Mr.
Levent Ileri. We had a great time in Turkey and
enjoyed very much staying at Villa Selim.
Without your help and the driving directions you
have provided from Istanbul to Bodrum, we could
not have done this trip all the way from
Romania. As you promised, Ms. Kathy reimbursed
us the entire refundable deposit to us per our
request as we delivered the villa in good order.
Also, Ms. Kathy was so kind and in fact she
picked us up from the Baia Hotel. Your villa
looks exactly as I saw it the first time via
internet. All the equipments in the house worked
perfectly, we used all of them. We enjoyed very
much the atmosphere, the sea, the islands
around...Also, we enjoyed a lot the court and
the terrace. We also watered the plants and the
flowers around for 2 times, it was a pleasure! I
will definitely recommend you, your services and
your villa to all my friends as your home as I
was very happy staying in. Unfortunately, not so
many people from Romania are so "brave" to drive
such a long distance...the way is quite a long

Mr. Ileri.. You own one of the best villas in
the world. You have spent so much care and
effort to create a beautiful place. We loved it.
We had a great time at the village, and we thank
Mr. Ileri's help at every step before and during
our visit. You will not believe me but I
purchased a Turkish cook book, and I will be
exercising my cooking abilities before
Christmas, as I plan on cooking Turkish food
that day. Thanks again for arranging our hotel
accomodations in Istanbul and our flight
arrangements from Istanbul to Bodrum. We will
definitely come back next year and we will

We stayed at Villa
Selim for one week during June 2007. Overall,
this was a dream vacation with the owner, Mr.
Levent Ileri, and the property manager, Ms.
Kathryn Gilmartin, taking care of every little
detail to make us feel comfortable. The villa
was in excellent condition with lots of things
inside for our convenience. We spent most of our
time on the spacious balcony as the view,
especially the sunrise and sunset, was
marvelous. Everything before, during, and after
our vacation was beyond our expectations. Thank

The price we
paid was very reasonable. The views were
exceptional, the villa's layout was good and the
town was very pleasant with other towns close by
to experience. The best thing, Levent was your
role in the process. Overall the help you gave

this property and the pool area to be excellent
and the owners seemed to have thought of
everything to make it a home from home. We
thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa, and

"Villa Selim is beautifully furnished, well
equipped and very comfortable and Gundogan is an
unspoilt seaside town with good quality family
run restaurants. Levent (villa owner) has a
beautiful holiday home with views from the
balcony that are stunning with fantastic
sunrises. We totally relaxed on this holiday,
from the balcony we watched the daily traffic on
the sea with the local Fishermen and boats going
about their daily routines. Our friends joined
us for our second week also enjoying the Villa
Selim and having a most relaxing holiday. Levent
was very attentive and supportive before, during
and after our holiday, he furnished us and our
friends with information, arranged for car hire
and even though he is living in America made
sure we had all we needed to have a great
holiday. Touring the Bodrum peninsular enabled
us to experience Turkey in its glory with sleepy
towns, excellent food and friendly people. The
holiday was relaxing, peaceful and comfortable
and we came home having had a great time! Thank

"Villa Selim is the best
accommodation I have ever stayed in for the
price. It has everything anyone could need, the
views from all the windows are wonderful, and
the peace and quiet guarantee a restful holiday.
The local restaurants are excellent, though
hiring a car would be recommended to really
explore the Bodrum Peninsula and its gorgeous
beaches. Boat trips are a must! I would
recommend this villa to anyone."

"What a wonderful visit I had
to the Bodrum Peninsula!! Villa Selim and Gundogan are
absolutely just what I had in mind for my holiday --
Levent & Lee have prepared a beautiful home for visitors
to enjoy. The views of the Aegean are breathtaking -- I
actually got up for more sunrises than I've probably
seen in the last 10
years! And swimming in the sea or lounging by the pool
were 2 very fun daily activities. Bodrum was fun as well
-- but getting back to the coziness of the Villa was
always the highlight of my day. It is so peaceful and
comfortable -- just exactly what you need on a vacation.

"We have spent a wonderful time in Villa Selim.
It was better than what we thought before
leaving France. Corinne, Cleo, Alix and I fell
in love with this place. Our daughters loved
the pool and it was a "rendez vous" every
evening after the sea. Every morning we enjoyed
the vue on Rabbit Island from our terrasse. We
also enjoyed daily boat trip you recommended,
just Excellent!
The property manager, Murat, was always caring
about us, asking every time if we need
something. He is a very good person. We plan to
go back there next year so we'll keep in touch.

"Villa Selim has exceeded any expectations we
could possibly have had. It was immaculately
clean, the decor was very modern. Everything you
could possibly wish for was in with the price
including washing machine which meant we only
had to take one weeks clothing for a fortnight
which we washed as we needed saving having to
take cases and cases. Air conditioning in every
room was a welcome luxury all in with the price.
The swimming pool looking over the Rabbit Island
on the Aegean Sea was very clean and safe. We
would not hesitate to go again, in fact we are
thinking of booking for next year before
everyone else beats us to it. We would give this
villa and service a five star rating without any
hesitation. Made this one of the best holidays
we have had. A huge thank you."

"Dear Mr. Ileri, Thank you for all of your help.
My husband and I quite enjoyed ourselves. Even
though you live in the USA, you were always in
touch with almost every other day. We are very
thankful for that, and all the help you and the
property manager provided to us. The villa was
what we had envisaged, and it was very well
furnished with a nice touch. We found the villa
very clean and well put together. I loved the
quality of your bed linens, towels, and all the
accessories the villa had. People in the town of
Gundogan are very friendly. We met many local
Turkish people, and learned a few words. We hope
to remember them for our next trip. When
combined with the remarkable exchange rate of
GBP into YTL, we felt like we were really rich.
We had great food at the local restaurants, and
we ordered local Turkish food as you explained,
and the people are very timely and the taste of
the food is very delicious. I wish I could live
there. It's hard to think of a better and more
relaxed place for a family holiday. The pool was
a nice stopping off point for the walk home. The
area has very nice beaches with good access to
the sea without a significant amount of people.
We especially enjoyed the terrace in the
morning."

"Our stay in your villa was wonderful. Bodrum
inhabitants have preserved nature. Houses and
villa are built without disfiguring the
landscapes. Bodrum is as charming as our famous
French Saint Tropez on the French Riviera and
nights are full of life with bars and
discotheques. We appreciate the peace and quiet
in Gundogan (only at half an hour from Bodrum
with a car. The bay is the most beautiful of
the Bodrum peninsula with a lovely footpath
snaking between villas.
The villa Selim is very comfortable, all is
functional, and all is clean. You feel as at
home, with every modern convenience (air
conditioning in each room, modern kitchen, and
the satellite TV to watch our favorite shows in
French). We slept deep and woke up by the fisher
boats noise. The view from the terrace on the
rabbit island is superb, we had wonderful
sunsets. We will come back in Gundogan next
year, to have rest and to have fun in Bodrum.

"Absolutely stunning views from Villa Selim.
Great value for money, fantastic amenities. My
children really enjoyed this holiday, could not
get them to leave the amazing pool overlooking
the Aegean Sea. Both the owner in the USA and
the property manager in Turkey could not have
been more helpful. My family and I 100%
recommend Villa Selim to anyone. I already made
arrangement to stay there in August for two
weeks."

"Villa Selim is located very strategically where
everything is in close proximity. Villa Selim
has met all the needs of my family (husband and
3 kids) and I. The layout of the property was
fantastic and the facilities provided by the
owners were excellent. The views from the 2
terraces where breathtaking, looking out over
the bay of Gundogan was a wonderful way to start
and end each day. I would recommend this
property to anyone wanting a relaxing enjoyable

"The villa is perfectly situated to allow
privacy from neighbors and gorgeous views. All
the bedrooms are comfortable and well put
together. Best of all is the huge outdoor
terrace. We spent a lot of relating evenings
outdoors. Gundogan village and Yalikavak village
are quiet and maintain the charm of Turkish
tradition. I strongly recommend men visit a
local Barber for a shave - it's unforgettable!
And finally – Levent (the owner of the property)
is very kind and helpful. He took care about us
during our vacation and helped us with many
logistics. I think this property, Villa Selim,
is one of the best ways to spend a holiday on
the Bodrum peninsula!"

"The property is in a beautiful position, with a
terrific view from the patio. We really enjoyed
the sunrise every morning, and the share of cool
afternoon. The villa itself was very well
equipped (the best we've ever experienced) and
very comfortable. We also appreciated the care
of the owners beforehand and after. They were
keen to ensure that we had a good holiday and
were extremely helpful in giving guidance and
advice about the villa and surroundings,
including car hire and local contact
information, before we went to Turkey. The owner
sent us an information resource package with all
the necessary information we needed, and a DVD.
The DVD was created very professionally. While
we were at the Villa, we were provided
professional guidance by the property manager,
Murat, who speaks excellent English and Turkish.
Over all we had a wonderful holiday, and have
already recommended the villa and the
Villarenters’ service to many friends."

"I would say that this villa exceeded our
expectations! Luxuriously furnished, in very
comfortable surroundings. VERY close to the
lovely beach in the village of Gundogan. Villa
Selim was kept clean with maid service every
other day - clean sheets, towels etc. This is
our piece of heaven on earth and would
definitely go again!. "
